To ensure that he looks the part, Moore spends a lot of time working out. When he is not shooting a scene, Moore can often be found working out in his personal onsite trailer-turned gym. Granted it is a lot of dedication, but the results make it more than worthwhile.

Shemar Moore’s workout involves a mix of weight lifting and cardio. Moore works often with his trainer. “I have a personal trainer that I love and adore who gets me in the kind of shape I could never get myself into.”

He also credits his trainer for keeping him motivated, especially on the days when he does not feel like workout out. In addition to his workouts, Moore is a cycling fan and often rides with the Criminal Minds cycling team. In 2008, he rode over 100 miles to raise money for charity.
